COURSE DESCRIPTION
Python is one of the best languages to start off with as a new programmer. Not only is it widely used in industries, it also has a simple and easy to learn syntax. Python is also taught at many high schools in the area. As a computer science major, one of the first languages taught is Python. Overall, Python is a really easy language to start programming and knowing Python gives an edge for learning other programming languages.
Provided below is the Python Curriculum for Learn ‘2’ Code. It consists of 4 levels, each level being covered in one session. Each session consists of 8 classes (one class per week)which are each 1.5 hours long. Depending on the pace of each student, more or less might me covered in each session. It is strongly advised to complete homework assigned each week to ensure the completion of one level by the end of the session.
Prerequisite
No prior experience required The Beginner Level introduces students to the world of programming.
Students will do 2 mini-projects at the end of the session.
